Fish and Shellfish WorkshopThis course is a hands-on workshop during which you will learn how to clean, fillet and cook various type of fish and shellfish.

Fish is quick to cook but also easy to overcook. Learn what is the correct timing for cooking fish so that it is cooked but retains its moisture inside. Due to the delicate flavor of fish the accompaniments to fish should not be overpowering. Find out which are the best fish pairings and learn how to cook and serve them with your fish.

  • Storing whole fish and shellfish
  • Filleting fish
  • Cleaning shellfish; how and when?
  • Storing filleted fish & shellfish
  • Cooking fish to perfection; safe for consumption but still moist
  • Fish pairings; various suitable accompaniments to fish and how to cook them
