The 2-day "Live Cooking Competition Training Workshop" with Chef Essam Sayed is scheduled to take place on 8 & 9 September at the Sofitel Karnak Luxor.
The workshop will improve your skills to compete with confidence. It will be followed by a Luxor Live Cooking competition on 18 September to polish your skills for the National ECA
competitions at Hace'12, from 2 till 5 October in Cairo.
Emphasis at the workshop will be on:
- Knife Handling Skills
- Basic Cooking Techniques
- Organization & Timing
- Mise en Place
- Waste Control
- Hygiene & Food Safety
- Review of ECA live cooking competition categories
The training workshop will be conducted in Arabic by Chef Essam Sayed, Executive Chef of Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort & Chairman of ECA Red Sea Chefs Chapter. Training manual and test are bilingual in English and Arabic. Upon successful completion of test, participants will receive an ECA certificate.
Registration fees: LE 250 for ECA-members and LE 350 for non-members.
