Worldchefs Certified Regional Judge

Chef Zohaira Shawish is a certified Regional Judge with the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs), a title she earned in early 2025, recognizing her commitment to international culinary standards and competition excellence. Her career has long focused on culinary education, professional development, and mentorship.

 She trained at the Culinary Training Center of Egypt under Chef Markus Iten, gaining hands-on experience through various events and projects. Zohaira is a member of the Egyptian Chefs Association (ECA) and a founding member of Egypt’s first Young Chefs Club.

Her journey includes collaborations with local restaurants and food consultancies, refining her skills and deepening her passion for teaching. She co-founded Peels Kitchen Eg. for Training and Consultations, a center for culinary training and industry support.

As a Subject Matter Expert, she supports chef development programs with several training entities. Chef Zohaira remains dedicated to learning and to giving back through education, mentorship, and judging.
