The Egyptian Chefs Association (ECA), established as a non-profit organization in 1997, is dedicated to maintaining and improving culinary standards in Egypt through education, training, and professional development of its members.
As a non-political organization the ECA is an authority and opinion leader on food representing a national voice on all issues related to the culinary profession.
Annual Fees: 350 LE
A minimum of 5 years’ work experience at one of the following positions:
Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Coordinator, Kitchen Director, Executive Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef in Charge or Butcher Chef in Charge.
Annual Fees: 300 LE
A Minimum of one-year work experience at the level of Demi Chef de Partie up to Junior Sous Chef.
Annual Fees: 250 LE
All other positions and students (no minimum work experience required).
Annual Fees: 400 LE
Non-chefs or hobby chefs who wish to support the Association.
(A membership initiation fee of LE 80 applies to all categories, to be paid only in the first year of your membership)
