Chef Hany Hamed developed a passion for culinary arts early in life. He has worked at prestigious hotels, including Le Meridien Heliopolis and Grand Hyatt. Currently, he serves as executive chef at the Holiday Inn City Stars Hotel.

Chef Hany Hamed became well-known in 2000 when he was chosen as a key member of Egypt’s National Chefs Team, which won two bronze and one silver medal at the IKA Culinary Arts Olympics in Germany. He was again nominated in 2008 and holds the title of World Chefs Certified Judge. Chef Hamed currently trains Egypt’s chefs ambassadors, sharing his expertise with aspiring chefs aiming to represent Egypt internationally.

Chef Hany Judge in the Global Young Chefs Challenge Semi-Final Dubai 2023 & 2025. And also, he is a trainer & judge in the Young Chef Olympiad India 2024 & 2025 and a trainer in the Global Culinary Alliance China 2025.
