In line with the efforts of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Royal Thai embassy in Cairo in cooperation with the Egyptian Chefs Association recently launched a series of Thai cooking classes for students, professionals and hobby chefs alike. The Thai Ambassador, inaugurated the first Thai cooking class, which was held for the students of the Culinary Training Centers of Egypt.

Experts in food science and technology came together at the InterContinental Cairo Citystars on 24th of April to discuss the special nutritional and technical attributes of palm oil. The Red Sea Chefs Chapter, under the umbrella of ECA and WACS, concluded another successful Hurghada Salon Culinaire'13.

The Red Sea Chefs drew crowds of curious visitors to the Largest-ever Um Ali Tagine as part of the Red Sea Festival days to promote tourism to the region. It took over 300 chefs from 40 different Red Sea hotels to prepare and serve the whopping 7,000 kilos of the traditional Egyptian dessert!
