The Egyptian Chefs Association is organizing a 2-day intensive training workshop on "French Pastry".
The training workshop covers the basic practical techniques used in preparing pastries, as well as introduce the equipment and utensils. Students will also get hands-on experience in how to prepare high quality, delicious French pastries.

WACS Congress'12 Sets a New Guinness World Record!

The ECA took part in a unique and exciting event, the largest ever WACS Congress'12 in Daejeon,
South Korea from 01 till 05 May. With the gathering of 2111 chefs, this 35th Congress was officially entered in the Guinness Book of World Records, which had to open a new category for this special gathering, as no record was ever registered before of a maximum gathering of Chefs.

Hurghada Salon Culinaire'12 was held on 26 March at Mövenpick Resort Hurghada.
More than 100 chefs participated in the competition with spectacular culinary exhibits. The ECA awarded 1 Gold, 8 Silver and 31 Bronze medals.
